So what do we know about STO?
Unfortunately, not much. There have been many different rumors around the internet since January 2008, many of which seem to
indicate Cryptic Studios is the new developer of Star Trek Online.
While not confirmed, TrekMovie.com posted a story claiming they had independently confirmed with sources that Cryptic was
indeed the publisher.
All other news outlets who have contacted Cryptic and asked them if they are the developer have met with strict "No Comment" replies.
However, here at STO-Zone, we are still operating under the assumption that STO is in production somewhere, and will be released
soon.
Until confirmation that the game is either in production, or has been canceled, this website and the Internet Radio Show that
accompanies it will remain in operation.
